Amazing Photographs Of People Living Alone In The Wilderness of Russia 1

In his picture collection ‘Escape,’ Russian photographer Danila Tkachenko traveled by the wilderness of Russia and Ukraine in a search for hermits residing in self-imposed exile, much absent from any town or village.

Tkachenko’s operate raises inquiries about what identification really signifies when we are forced to live how modern society tells us to: “School, function, family – as soon as in this cycle, you are a prisoner of your very own place. You need to be pragmatic and sturdy, or turn out to be an outcast or a lunatic. How to continue being your self in the midst of this?”
